Illinois Mega Millions Winner.

0418megaThe most recent winners Merle and Patricia Butler from Red Bud, Illinois won the most recent jackpot. They have claimed their piece of the biggest jackpot ever. The newest multimillionaires have the option to decide between 26 yearly payments totaling $218.6 million or just a lump sum of $157.8 Million. They took the winning ticket to lock it up in a safe box the next day. When he told the bank teller, she laughed because she didn't know that he wasn't lying. Hopefully they don't spend it all right away like most people do, then become hobo's.

Terrorism

It seems in this day and age the only way to stop terrorism is to educate them with books. Scientists from Russia have just announced the new way to stop terrorists is TIM (Terrorist Immobilization Device). They actually make them read until they turn into zombies. Once they turn into zombies we actually have a reason to kill them because they are zombies. Their weakness is much like vampires with garlic, their weakness is books. Once the terrorist zombie sees a book it tries to get rid of it any way that is necessary. This consists of suicide bombings and IED's and mass amounts of zombie moaning. Hopefully TIM's are the future of dealing with terrorists.

Theres a new linner in town.

With all of the action that has been going on in the NFL this off season, with the New Orleans Saints paying players for big hits this past month. The Broncos recently acquired free agent and past quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts Peyton Manning. People were wondering about what will happen with Tim Tebow? He just got traded to the Jets this past week, even though the Jaguars offered more money for Tebow. So now the talk of both the NFL and the NBA (Jeremy Lin) are playing in the same city. People are wondering who will be the starting quarterback for the Jets.

Chequamegon Bay

Even though this year has been a disappointment for winter recreation, Chequamegon Bay has been a safe destination for ice fishers. There is almost 12 inches of ice making it one of the thickest ice places in the state, which makes it reasonably safe. This year has been a very dangerous year for ice anglers, with many reports of people and vehicles falling through the ice. In Chequamegon Bay there are 16 different species of fish from small mouth bass to a rainbow trout. It has always been a good destination for bass anglers, with a hefty 22 inch length limit.

Jeremy Lin?

Is the Knicks replacement for Carmelo Anthony legit? Some say yes but some say no. A lot of people are comparing Lin to the Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow how they sparked to get wins. Lin hit the game winning shot against the Toronto Raptors giving them the 90-87 victory. He scored their last 6 points helping them with the 17 point deficit that they overcame. They are on a 7 game win streak, they hope to keep their win streak alive on Friday against the Hornets. Lin a Harvard economics graduate decided to go into the NBA, he got dropped by 2 different teams. He has scored more points in his first 5 starts than any other player in history with 136. Lin and Tebow are a lot alike with 4th quarter led come from behind victories or game winners. Who do you think is better?
